This project aims to provide vocational training and opportunities for adults with severe developmental disabilities in Busan, South Korea.
In response to the 2024 UTO focus area on “the Stranger”, the Diocese of Bukavu, heavily impacted by regional conflicts, plans to build a multi-service center.
This project will establish the Children Hope Center to meet the needs of vulnerable children, some who are orphaned and others from single mother households.
There are 110 people in St. Mark’s neighborhood, and they need a lot of care, but no church is helping them. St. Mark’s aspires to help them settle into Korean society.
Our Work
The United Thank Offering (UTO) began in 1883 when the women of the church took up a thank offering to support innovative mission and ministry in The Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion that the church budget could not cover.
Today, UTO includes members of all ages and genders, and welcomes people regardless of church affiliation. UTO’s focus is still on promoting gratitude and supporting innovative projects that address compelling needs around the globe.
