Give to the United Thank Offering

Practice Gratitude: Change the World

There are many ways to financially support the work of the United Thank Offering, you can mail in donations or donate online. UTO has two funds that donors can support. The first is the Memorial Trust Fund, which provides for the creation of gratitude materials for all UTO members, congregations, and dioceses. The second is the UTO Ingathering, where 100% of donations are given away as grants the following year. Regardless of how you choose to support UTO, we are grateful for you and your generosity.

Not sure what to get for the people who have everything? Give the gift of gratitude with UTO!

This Christmas, if you make a donation of at least $100 and put “cards” in the note section we’ll send you a pack of 10 cards (image coming soon) to give to your loved ones as a sign of your gift in their honor to UTO. Each card features a photo and information from a recent UTO grant site to help tell the story of where your gift goes.

Orders must be placed by November 30th and card packs will ship beginning December 1st.

Support the Ministry of UTO by Giving to the Memorial Trust

If you’re looking for a new way to acknowledge events in the lives of your loved ones, consider supporting UTO via a donation to the Memorial Trust Fund. UTO offers two cards to choose from – one for celebrations and one for memorial gifts. Donations to the Memorial Trust Fund supports the work of UTO, including sending materials for free. If you would like to have one of these special cards sent, simply select “Memorial Trust Fund” in the dropdown menu of our online giving form (click the give button to the right) and then in the comments let us know which card celebration or memorial) you’d like us to send. All donations to the Memorial Trust Fund are recorded in our digital memorial book that you can find here.

Since 2025, the work of UTO is support solely through the income from the Memorial Trust Fund. When you give to the Memorial Trust Fund, you helps us continue to provide resources to congregations and dioceses without cost. We hope you’ll consider giving to the Memorial Trust Fund this year as a special way to give thanks for those in your life.
